Thank you for stopping by! My name is Courteney and I founded Sundripper Jewelry. I have always loved creating and have dabbled in many creative pursuits but nothing took ahold of me quite like metalsmithing. There is something intriguing about turning raw, rough earth into polished adornments that you can carry with you through all the special moments as well as the mundanities of life. A sort of talisman to ground you and remind you who you are and what inspires you. When you find something to wear that makes you feel more "you", you've discovered a reference point when things get hard, weird, or just monotonous. 

Since moving to Colorado in 2018, I suffered a major illness that I will live with for the rest of my life. The hardest part was not feeling like myself. My physical and mental capacities were so diminished that I wasn't able to live the active, social, and spirited life I had always known. I didn't recognize my own experience. While in the thralls of hardship, physical objects like jewelry were the landmarks that reminded me of my essence. Making jewelry and wearing stones that evoked a sense of kinship and familiarity felt like coming home and a deep, cathartic sigh. I had a line back into my truest self. I'm here for this and because of this. My hope is that my creations will accompany you through the moments of your Great Adventure and tune your internal compass toward what makes you feel most alive.
